I qualified as a Usui Reiki Master Teacher in July 2021, having spent 2 years implementing the practice in my life, predominantly to support me in my recovery from anxiety and to maintain a calm state of mind.
I am now passionate about supporting my clients and students to implement the many wonderful benefits of the system of Reiki in their own lives.
I have been a languages teacher for 20 years and am delighted to be able to bring all of the skills I have garnered over the years to fruition through Alvechurch Reiki as I continue to grow on this journey.
All aspects of my work involve deeply meditative and mindful practices, with the highest of intentions to help you achieve and maintain a healthy and stress-free body and mind. I can provide a deeply relaxing and rejuvenating Reiki treatment. You can also attend one of my courses to acquire the ultimate in self-help and wellness skills.
All practitioners that have been trained in the Usui system of Reiki should be able to trace their lineage back, in an unbroken line, to the founder of the Usui system of Reiki, Mikao Usui, as illustrated.
All students of Alvechurch Reiki are attuned by Helen Cochrane in person, in both Western and Eastern lineages, with great care having been taken to teach and preserve the original teachings as much as is possible.
