ACCREDITED REIKI COURSES with ALVECHURCH REIKI
Usui Reiki courses designed to immerse students in highly personalised learning and healing in a small group, combining the wisdom of both traditional Eastern (Usui Reiki Ryoho) and Western (Usui Shiki Ryoho) lineages.
All courses are led and taught by Helen Cochrane, Reiki Master Teacher member of the UK Reiki Federation. All students of Alvechurch Reiki are attuned by Helen in person, in both Western and traditional Usui Reiki lineages, with great care having been taken to teach and preserve the original teachings as much as possible.

Courses are taught in small groups of no more than 6 for Reiki 1, Reiki 2 and Reiki Master/Master Teacher levels (no more than 8 for the other workshops), for an intentionally personal, supportive experience, within a thoughtfully and compassionately held teaching space. We allow plenty of time for instruction, guided practice and reflection, with a focus on the meditative and mindful aspects of the practice.

Traditional Reiki Course pathway....
For Reiki 1 Shoden (the Beginners’ teachings), no prior knowledge or experience is necessary. By the end of the two days, you will be equipped with the skills to get started on incorporating Reiki into your day-to-day life, performing treatments on yourself, friends, families and pets.

For Reiki 2 Okuden (the hidden inner teachings), once ready to deepen your practice, continue your learning and work with 3 of the Reiki symbols, this course will take you further along your beautiful journey by building on the skills developed on the Reiki 1 course. This is the level at which, after completion, students can begin to prepare for professional Reiki practice, although many students choose to complete this course purely to deepen personal awareness.

Each a beautifully meditative and therapeutic two days in the village of Alvechurch, the above Reiki 1 and Reiki 2 courses can count towards the Alvechurch Reiki PROFESSIONAL REIKI PRACTITIONER DIPLOMA. Approved and accredited by the UK Reiki Federation, all aspects of the courses follow the Core Curriculum for Reiki in detail and strictly follow the guidelines for training by UK National Occupational Standards.

Reiki Master / Master Teacher
Taking place over two days (for Reiki Master) or four days (Reiki Master Teacher) this Usui Reiki Shinpiden Course is designed to immerse students in highly personalised learning and provide them with the tools to find deeper understanding and expansive awareness. Together we will explore elements of theory relating to the practice and its philosophies, and a number of advanced techniques. The aim of our learning together is to begin to gain a deeper insight into Usui Reiki Ryoho and Usui Shiki Ryoho.

The Alvechurch Reiki PROFESSIONAL REIKI PRACTITIONER DIPLOMA
......focuses on the development of professional skills and competences to provide a high standard of professional service to clients. Successful completion will enable registration onto the accredited UK CNHC (Complementary & Natural Healthcare Council) register.
Once having completed Reiki 1 & 2, students can complete the Core Modules in any order, with no time limit, followed by a final assessment, which includes submission of evidence (100 recorded self treatments, 75 recorded Reiki Sessions on others, 10 Case Studies), a Practical assessment and a Written assessment.
